In a release today from President Krendl’s office, Heidi Tracy, vice president for institutional advancement and head of the Where We Stand initiative, accepted a position as vice president for University Advancement at Texas Woman’s University. Her last day will be May 22.
Texas Woman’s University is the nation’s largest university primarily for women, with an enrollment of 15,000 students and has campuses in Denton, Dallas and Houston.
With her departure, the University is working to move forward with the Where We Stand Matters campaign. In the upcoming weeks, the committee will be creating and implementing a transition plan to continue the campaign’s momentum with current staff.
The Where We Stand Matters campaign is investing $50 million dollars to achieve campus renewal by announcing a master plan; a model community and access and affordability. It is the largest campaign in Otterbein’s history.
The president’s office is confident that the members of the Advancement’s Executive Team will uphold the responsibilities and maintain progress on the Where We Stand Matters campaign.
In the next week, the Advancement’s Executive Team plans to come up with a transition plan and determine the qualities needed in Tracy’s replacement as vice president for Institutional Advancement.
