The Cardinals  lost their Homecoming football game to the Ohio Northern Polar Bears.

With total points scored in the season standing at 13, the Cardinal offense put scoring as the highest priority. Additionally, the defense had to manage the high scoring offense led by junior quarterback Anthony McFadden.

What started off as a showing of defense by both sides in the first quarter, quickly led to a strong lead by the Polar Bears, with a 30-yard field goal and a touchdown to start the second quarter. The Cardinal defense prevented the Polar Bears from capitalizing on two turnovers.

The Cardinal offense managed one scoring drive, but in the end Ohio Northern made key stops to win 13-7.

The Cardinals hosts University of Mount Union next Saturday at 1:30pm.
