The candidates for the only contested race in the Otterbein University Student Government campaign week summarized their campaigns and answered questions at an event in the Campus Center on March 8.
Student Government approved nine Student Life Grant Proposals at the Jan. 28 meeting. The approved projects largely deal with campus renovations, student involvement and student organization programming.
Otterbein’s new student government has not shown significant progress on several major issues. This is acceptable only as the representatives work through the first year of an entirely new system. We believe that in order to succeed, the representatives require a great deal of autonomy from the opinions of Otterbein employees as well as a great deal of support from the student body.
Otter Den sees increase in traffic and wait times with new fall menu, more changes to come in the future.
