This year’s dance concert features 23 dancers and is filled with choreography selections from Pulse, Beethoven on Broadway, Spotlight, and more.
Director Stella Kane said, “The choreographers who are contributing to [“Together Again”] have not done the concert in the last few years. Bringing them together and bringing back favorite pieces from the choreographers, kind of like a reunion. To breathe and take another look at audience favorites.”
The styles of contemporary, modern, ballet, and tap are all featured in this concert.
According to Kane, it is different than other concerts, because it incorporates many different storylines.
Rachel Fish, a junior public relations major with a dance minor, is one of the performers in “Together Again.” Her favorite piece is Tantamount, “because of all the partner work that goes into the piece, along with the individualization of each couple that the six of us get to play with.”
“Together Again” will be showing on December 5 at 7:30 p.m., December 6-7 at 8 p.m., and December 8 at 2 p.m.
