After two years and repeated public records denials, a national journalism award has recognized the T&C and previous staff member Lindsey Hobbs’ efforts to effectively cover public safety at Otterbein.
The Problem Last week, the T&C reported that Otterbein recently changed the lease format for school-owned apartments and is reverting to an old policy that was in place up until two years ago.
This newspaper that you are holding in your hands means something different to every person who reads it.
I can bet that when you were a senior in high school you couldn’t stop thinking, “College will be so much different from high school.” While part of that is right, I bet the part you thought would be different is actually quite the same, and that part is the stereotypes. Every school has them, and everyone hates it, but it’s human nature to judge someone whether it be good judgment or bad.

There will be no new issue of the Tan & Cardinal lying around campus today. A proposed restructuring of the newspaper organization led the staff to postpone today’s issue until further decisions can be made. Look for fresh editions of the T&C on newsstands after spring break.
There are many hidden treasures looming around Otterbein. It is our job as students to live it up while we are here and uncover the fun that is behind Otterbein’s outer appearance.
The post-graduation job market is a competitive environment, forcing students to fight for internships that might provide them with an experience to give them the extra edge in the professional world.
The Problem Smoking is undoubtedly an unhealthy habit. It has been linked to cancer and other health problems — but does that warrant a campus policy against it?
The T&C takes a look at how students, both in relationships and not, spend their Valentine’s Day.
Welcome to campus, transfer students. In the short time you’ve been here, it has swung between warm, no-jacket weather to 20 degree, bundle-up-like-the-Michelin-Man weather.
It seems so rare in our country nowadays when we can find a handful of people around us to agree on the same thing, let alone an estimated 1 million people.
