Otterbein students queue up favorite shows

Programs like Hulu and Netflix have given the busy college student a chance to watch their favorite TV shows and movies without sticking to the TV schedule. That is why junior health education major Lydie Dorelien, who is involved with a number of activities on and off campus, uses Hulu to keep up with all her favorite shows. Here are five shows that she has on her Hulu account:

“New Girl”: “I actually randomly started watching New Girl. I usually do not pick up on shows if I miss the first season. I was randomly watching TV, flipping while commercials were on and stopped on Fox 28 and ‘New Girl’ was on. I’ve been watching ever since.”

“The Vampire Diaries”: “I actually got into ‘Vampire Diaries’ after my ‘Twilight’ phase. It just kind of stuck.”

“How I Met Your Mother”: “I’ve been watching ‘HIMYM’ for a while. I just honestly find it extremely funny.”

“The Mindy Project”: “I love the main character Mindy. She is comfortable and confident in who she is. This show is also very funny.”

“The Tomorrow People”: “It’s a new show on the CW that started this fall. I really like the action in it and the fact the main characters have superpowers.”
