Wildcard Weekly Rewind: New inclusion Program and Registration
Welcome to your Wildcard Weekly Rewind with all the latest news on campus I’m your host Hannah Brown.
Today is Monday, March 22nd. I am here will fellow staff member Ellie Newman she has agreed to kick things off for us. What’s first on our agenda Ellie?
Yes, so here’s what’s going on around campus. President Comerford is focused on making Otterbein more inclusive. The first step is getting students involved and educated with different student groups dedicated to diversity. The second phase of the plan will be the WeRise program which will include members of the Westerville Community. This initiative will include hiring a racial justice officer for Westerville.
Thanks, Ellie, now for some important dates. This Week Registration begins. On Tuesday, seniors will be able to register. On Wednesday juniors will be able to register. Thursday will be for sophomores and Friday is for freshmen. Everyone will be allowed to start signing up for classes at 7:00 am on their scheduled day. If you’re unsure of what day you are scheduling there should be an email from the register with your scheduling day.
Here are some upcoming sports, Men’s soccer will be at John Carroll on Thursday the 25th at 7 pm, this game will be broadcasted. On Friday the 26th, Women’s Volleyball will be at Heidelberg at 6 pm. And Men Tennis will be home on Saturday the 27th against John Carroll at 1 pm.
The Promise house will also be doing a pop-up on Wednesday the 24th. They will be giving out free donuts. I repeat free, from 10-12:30 pm. If you want some Hostess donuts they will be at the Rock.
