Otterbein opens the season with a victory for their 1st year HC Tim Doup. Definitely struggles on the offensive side of the ball, but the defense was outstanding shutting out Gallaudet and forcing them to 3 TO’s. Hard fought game by Gallaudet, they hung in the game for 3 QTR’s, they just simply ran out of steam on the ground offensively. The Cardinals now head to Wilmington (OH) in 2 weeks with a bye week next week. On Saturday September 15th, the Cardinals face the Quakers of Wilmington in Wilmington, OH for the 1st OAC matchup of the 2012 season. Cards win by a final score of 15-0 and are now 1-0.
