The story being used for Smoot's project focuses on courage. This page stuck out to Smoot when thinking of how to strongly portray her message on non-judgement.
Smoot is a sport management major and plays lacrosse for Otterbein and desires to connect her passion for sports and art in graphic design for teams. This semester she created branding for the women's lacrosse team that led her to a future internship.
Smoot hopes this piece can get into the art show. Smoot took art classes in high school at Dublin Scioto and her art teacher always encouraged her to draw.
Smoot enjoys drawing pictures of people, especially self-portraits. This project of drawing anything in an old book allowed her to run with the idea of not judging a book by its cover.
