The Otterbein men’s soccer team claps and faces the stands to celebrate their big senior day win. The team focused on their win but would soon begin preparations to take on Ohio Northern on Oct. 24.
Otterbein and Muskingum congratulate each other on a game well played. The win over Muskingum brought the men’s soccer season record up to 7-6.
The scoreboard strikes zero as Otterbein snags a 5-1 win for their seniors. The five goals against Muskingum became the team’s new season record of goals scored in a game.
The referee steps in to break up an altercation between #17 from Muskingum, Jacob Worst, and #8 from Otterbein, Kamal Mohammed. Following the fight, Worst was promptly ejected from the game and left Memorial Stadium with his belongings.
Juan Rivas (#21) kicks some of the turf up as he connects with the soccer ball. After securing a 4-point lead over Muskingum, the Cardinals fought defensively to keep the other team from scoring.
Players from both teams watch as the ball glides into the net for Otterbein's fifth goal. This was the final goal of the game and was scored by #8, Kamal Mohammed.
Pau Piang leaps into the arms of his teammate, Erick Juarez-Manning, after scoring Otterbein’s fourth goal. This celebration was well-warranted because the goal was Piang’s first of the game.

Muskingum players, Michael Horgan (#6) and Drew Wise (#22), fish the ball out of the net after Otterbein scores their third goal. This goal came after Muskingum scored their first point of the game. Erick Juarez-Manning (#10) and Eric Stucky (#6) worked together to put a third point on the scoreboard for Otterbein.
Josh Routte, the goalie for Muskingum, slides across the turf as he fails to block Otterbein’s second goal of the day. The goal was made by #7, Eric Stucky, and increased the point gap between Otterbein and Muskingum.

Starters from each team line up on the field to be announced before the start of the game. The Cardinals began the game hoping to add another win to their season record of 6-6.
The Otterbein soccer seniors pose with their parents as they are recognized for their participation in the Otterbein soccer program. Roger Howard, an avid Cardinal sports fan, went down to the field to get a few last shots of the players that he has been photographing since their start on the Otterbein men’s soccer team.
