Kayla Bard is a freshman at Otterbein University who is majoring in three different subjects because “I want to get the full Otterbein experience.” Usually when someone thinks of the college experience, they do not think of taking extra classes. Bard is majoring in spanish, biology, and biochemistry. This photo shows Bard embracing campus.
In this picture, Bard works on her homework and studies at the Courtright Memorial Library. “I stay at the library because it is where I get my work done efficiently. I love the atmosphere,” said Bard.
She finds herself under immense stress because of her heavy course load. Bard learned to cope with anxiety by talking out her feelings and taking moments to relax. This picture shows that school sometimes causes feelings of anxiety and stress.
There can be any amount of traffic on 270 in the morning, with trip time being altered by weather and accidents.
Bard said that joining Greek Life was a great option for her to relieve stress and become a part of campus social life.
