End of spring: A return to normalcy

This year saw Otterbein begin to emerge from the depths of the pandemic

Today, April 28, marks the end of our academic year of coverage at Otterbein University for the 2022 spring semester.

Over the course of the summer months, we look forward to some website changes and rebranding this summer which will be ready for the fall semester.

This semester marked my first semester as the Editor-in-Chief here at T&C, and I could not be prouder of what we accomplished in such a short time. Not only was the sheer volume of stories that these journalists pumped out astonishing, but the depth and quality of their reporting far surpassed their age and experience.

After two years of a pandemic, we got to take off our masks, see sports start to return to normalcy and begin to experience a semblance of the traditional college experience. The OtterDen switched their pizza policies, Campus Center renovations began and life seemed to finally move forward. All of this, and more, was covered in this semester alone.

Thus far, the staff have made a concerted effort to try to cover as many different facets of campus as possible and will continue to develop and make this newspaper one that can represent all the different parts of Otterbein. As always, if you have any suggestions on what you want to see covered, you can be sure to email us at tandcmedia.org@gmail.com.

We cannot wait to get back to covering Otterbein in the fall with a whole slew of fresh stories, as well as a print edition of the newspaper being published in the first week of classes.

Stay safe and have a great summer,

Go Cards.
