Summer's here: A look back on all we've done

Despite its challenges, this semester has been chock-full of accomplishments

It's hard to believe, but we have finally made it to the end of the semester.

That's not to say we didn't get off to a rocky start. With the heating issues, the damage in Cowan, and the giant hole in front of Towers, it's safe to say that the spring semester had its bumps in the road.

This semester was also my first as Editor-in-Chief. I can't say that my journey in this position hasn't had its own bumps in the road, but I am so proud of everyone who has helped us have a successful year here at T&C. We've covered a wide range of topics, from Other Prom to the Rike Center and everything in between. I am so proud of our reporters for not only going above and beyond in terms of their stories but also for their excitement when it came to starting up social media campaigns like OC Cribs, the Spotify playlist, and weekly Q&As.

We as a staff have also been working to challenge ourselves more with what we cover. Now more than ever we are determined to be a news outlet run by students, for students. If you have any suggestions for what we should cover, please email us at tandcmedia.org@gmail.com.

While we are going on summer vacation, we will be back in the fall, ready to continue sharing the latest Otterbein and Westerville news.

One more thing before I sign off. I would like to thank our beat reporters, Josie, Lilly, Chase, Kailey, Ellie and Karlee, for their hard work and dedication. I would also like to thank Dr. Hillary Warren, Abby, Rachel, Sophia, Hayden and Ty for not only trusting me to take over the EIC position but for all their help as I navigate this new position. I appreciate it more than I can say.

That's all from us for now, but be on the lookout for some stories from this semester coming out throughout the summer.

Be safe, have a great summer, and congratulations to the graduating class of 2023!
