Since I was a kid, I’ve always loved reading — no matter the content. In middle school, my appreciation for magazines began with National Geographic and Sports Illustrated. Those vibrant, awe‑striking stories shaped how I viewed the world and encouraged me to learn more about myself. Writing my first editor’s letter is an honor, because those early experiences directly influenced how this issue came to life.
Putting this issue together was a true process of trial and error. There were moments when ideas didn’t land the way we expected, when layouts had to be reimagined, and when we had to step back and rethink what we were trying to say. But every challenge pushed us to refine our vision. We learned to trust the process — to let the theme guide us, to stay patient with the work, and to embrace the messy parts of creativity that ultimately make a project stronger.
When we began working on this edition, we knew we wanted to expand the idea of movement. It became important to explore movement through different lenses of society — physical, cultural, emotional, and personal. We challenged ourselves to present the theme in a way that felt fresh, intentional, and uniquely ours. The more we dug into it, the more we realized that movement isn’t just something we observe; it’s something we experience, question, and grow through.
I also want to take a moment to thank my team. Every person contributed to every part of this issue — writing, editing, designing, brainstorming, revising, and supporting one another through the entire process. Nothing was siloed. Everyone stepped in where they were needed, and that collective effort is what made this issue special. I’m grateful for the passion, patience, and creativity that each member brought to the table. This magazine is a reflection of all of us, moving together toward a shared vision.
I’m proud of what we built together, and I hope this issue inspires you to see movement — and yourself — through a new lens.
