With the NBA lockout almost over many people will be discussing about trades and free agents. What do I want to talk about? The chances that the Miami Heat win the NBA Finals this season because they made it to the finals last year and crumbled under pressure. Even though they lost last June, I still think they win it all this time.

Why? Well the Big 3 are just going to get better every year as they learn how to play with each other and the other players on the team. They will also get more players to add depth which will be very important in this shortened season.

Now I know you’re thinking, what about Boston, New York, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Chicago, and that team out west? Well you’re right, what about those teams? Well they all have their own problems. Dallas looks to be getting rid of Tyson Chandler, OKC is still young, Chicago and New York need another big player, Boston is getting old, and the Lakers have a new coach with a new offense. Too many questions for those teams to give them a higher chance to win it.

There are still some of you thinking about Miami and saying, “they don’t have a center, how are they going to win it all?” Well it looks like they are going to get Greg Oden because of Pat Riley’s persuasion techniques of winning championships instead of making money.

That’s the reason why everyone is in the NBA. It’s not just about making money; it’s about winning championships and gaining NBA immortality. We’re all entitled to our opinion and I’m sticking by mine, even if the Heat lose their first ten to twenty games. I’m still sticking with them.
