Otterbein soccer loses in overtime to Ohio Northern

The Otterbein Cardinals men’s soccer team (6-7, 1-3) lost in overtime to the 20th-ranked Polar Bears of Ohio Northern (11-3, 3-1), 3-2, after giving up a 2-0 lead in the second half. “I thought we played quite well but set pieces were the difference,” said head coach Gerry D’Arcy.

Cross country wins at Hanover

Freshman Julissa Poullet earned her first individual title as an Otterbein cross country runner last Saturday as she led the women’s team to a first place victory in the Kiwanis Invitational at Hanover University.

	The Otterbein Hunt Seat team placed seventh at nationals.

Hunt seat takes seventh place

After making it to their first ever nationals appearance, the hunt seat team received seventh place this past weekend. Nationals, which took place in Harrisburg, Pa., hosted sixteen different teams from all over the country including Stanford University, LSU and Purdue. “It’s a little bit different,” said head coach Tenley Struhs.
