Tuesday the Bucks took on Duke and made the Blue Devils look like high school players. Duke lost by 22 points and I have never seen Duke lose by that many points. Duke hasn’t lost by more than 20 against a Big Ten school since 1959 when they played Michigan State.

The reason they got blown out in this game was because of Jared Sullinger, Deshaun Thomas William Buford, and Aaron Craft. Together the four of them scored a total of 76 points. The rest of the team scored nine. Each of them were lights out at their position and not just on offense. They looked like NBA players playing defense. They shut down Duke’s offense and the only starters that scored for them were Mason Plumlee and Austin Rivers, their best players.

I don’t know what happened. Either Ohio State wanted to show that they deserve respect or the Blue Devils were tired from the Maui Invitational flight back home. Whatever the reason may be, Ohio State showed that they can play with the big teams.

Many people know of Aaron Craft and Jared Sullinger but with Thomas and Buford this team looked unstoppable. Maybe that’s why they won by 22 points and had the lead for over 35 minutes. I would certainly like to these two teams play again in the tournament because I’m wondering if Duke would get blown out again or if they would keep it close. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
