Last Saturday I watched the OSU-Michigan and I wasn’t really surprised that Michigan won. I was surprised however that Ohio State had a chance to win.

In the first half the Bucks went down by 11 but came back to take the lead right before halftime. I thought this was impressive when many people were saying that Ohio State was going to lose and lose by a lot. The second half was more of the same until the last two minutes when the Bucks were starting their game winning game drive. However it didn’t go like you would expect. The Wolverines intercepted Braxton Miller’s pass and won the game. A very exciting ending to a long storied rivalry.

As I look back on this game I’m still trying to figure out who won the most. Michigan won and ended Ohio State’s long winning streak against them. However the Bucks got Urban Meyer right after this because of the OSU losing. Wait what am I thinking? Clearly the Bucks gained more because Meyer will probably beat them every year. Who knows when Michigan will win the rivalry game again? Will they win in the next five years? Ten? Even more than that?

I don’t know but I hope that that doesn’t happen. I love this rivalry when both sides are winning, not just one sided which happened under Tressel. Hopefully Brady Hoke will continue to develop this team and keep them at a high level. Maybe they’ll meet again in the Big Ten Championship game next year. Wouldn’t that be something?
