ESPN announced recently that Tyson Chandler is very close to a deal with the Knicks. Wow! Instead of Chris Paul the Knicks will add Chandler to their star duo. But to add more to this the Knicks are still going to try and get CP3. Talk about off-season moves.

The Knicks are going to get Chandler first and then they’re going to trade Amare for Paul. I think that it could work but I would advise New York not to go through with the trade. Amare came there to start a new team in New York and is now attracting stars like CP3 and Tyson Chandler. If New York decides to wait to get Paul in free agency next year then they would be able to have four powerful players on the court at the same time. That would unstoppable in the Eastern Conference. Not even the Big 3 in Miami could stop them.

Paul and Chandler were also teammates in New Orleans before Chandler went to Dallas. If New Orleans traded him to a team other than L.A. then he would definitely go to New York in 2012. They’re would be too much talent for him to pass up playing with and I bet he would like to play with his friend, Chandler, one more time.

Sure the Knicks would have to wait but does it really matter? If Mike D’Antoni doesn’t win the Finals then he’s probably going to get let go from the Knicks. Just to make things a little sweeter, apparently Phil Jackson wants to return as a coach next year. Don’t be surprised if it’s New York, especially if they have all four of these guys just waiting for him. If you want to see a dream team, this would be it.
