Four weeks remain before the playoffs begin and every game garners more importance as the season draws to a close. The NFC wildcard race is down to four teams trying to get two spots. The AFC wildcard race however

In the NFC the Lions and the Giants are looking in from the outside. They’re competing with the Falcons and the Bears who both have 7-5 records. I don’t think the Lions or the Giants take these two spots because New York is a game behind them and Detroit cannot control their composure. The Giants still have to play Dallas twice and I think they lose one of them which will kick them out of the race.

The AFC wildcard race will be more entertaining to fans. There are five teams vying for two spots which are currently being held by Baltimore and Cincinnati. I think Baltimore keeps their wild card spot because they’re 9-3 and will not lose more than two games.

Four other teams are 7-5 and its going come down to one spot. I think Cincinnati loses their spot because they will lose to the Texans and the Ravens. Tennessee and Oakland will fall short because Houston will lose to New Orleans and Houston while Oakland will lose to Green Bay, Detroit, and San Diego.

The team that I think is going to take the final spot is the Jets. They have the most favorable schedule in which they will only lose to the Giants. They might not even lose that game because they play better when their backs against the wall which is where they are now and what they have done the past two years. The last four weeks are going to be exciting and every game is going to matter.
