Students volunteer for local organizations on MLK day of service

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Otterbein's Center for Community Engagement (CCE) held their annual day of service. After the MLK Convocation, students attended Pac the Mac and other events in the Campus Center to complete multiple service projects. These projects help student-run volunteer groups and local organizations in Westerville.

IT transitions to Outlook from Google

On May 5, 2017, Otterbein transitioned from the use of Google applications to Microsoft’s Office 365. For students, faculty and staff, this meant that everyone’s email accounts, calendars and contacts migrated over to the new email service called Outlook.

Otterbein student fights cancer, hopes to finish school

Kaila Kullgren lives by a theory: everything we do in life costs us a spoon. Taking a shower, hanging out with friends or even walking from the bedroom to the kitchen take energy. But Kaila must pick and choose how she spends her days. As a young 19-year-old woman battling cancer, she only has so many spoonfuls of energy to spare.
