Donations to Otterbein affect each and every student who attends the university. These gifts make everything possible, from financial aid to classroom resources and campus buildings.
After a search process involving video interviews of 13 candidates taken from a pool of 63 applicants, four candidates were chosen by the search committee. The following three of the four candidates visited Otterbein for further evaluation.
Otterbein senate sealed J-term’s fate at the Nov. 21 meeting. Senate voted to end J-term after 2014 with a Cardinal term and May term as replacements. Much of the student body left before the vote on the 13-14/5 bill, but it passed, 114-44. An amendment to bill 13-14/5 was passed that instituted a task force to explore the “mission and vision” of immersive term options.
Retired Otterbein theater professor Ed Vaughan pleaded no contest to charges of sexual imposition, unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct Nov. 12 in Franklin County Municipal Court.

A few weeks ago, students saw trucks filled with colorful spring flowers ripped from the ground. Some might see this as a waste, but Dirk White, director of special projects at Otterbein, sees this as a necessity.
A rape was reported Friday, Oct. 25. The incident occurred on Oct. 24 around 6 or 7 p.m.

At 11:55 p.m. September 3, Otterbein University Police Department reported a burglary in Westerville.
