T&C Media and T&C Magazine win multiple ONMA awards

T&C Media and T&C Magazine win statewide awards across multiple categories

At the Ohio News Media Association (ONMA) awards program Thursday Feb. 7, T&C Media and T&C Magazine won statewide awards across multiple categories. 

In the ONMA collegiate award category B, T&C Media took first place in multimedia for coverage of the shooting of Westerville police officers Anthony Morelli and Eric Joering in February 2018.

Coverage was provided by T&C staff, including Schalischa Petit-De, Peter Fish, Will Day, Charity Ervin, Janelle Johannes, Shaukeria Reese, Sydney Peters, Aselya Sposato and Eddie Anders.

In collegiate award category B, T&C Magazine took second place in arts and entertainment for its package of story and photos, "100 Years of T&C." 

Abby Studebaker and Madi O'Neill provided coverage for the article.

Additionally, former T&C Newspaper 2004-05 Editor-in-Chief and current Olentangy Valley News reporter Kelley Youman took home a Best Story award.
