Women's golf looks promising for spring 2022

Women's golf is hopeful to swing toward OAC Title and NCAA Championship

The Otterbein women's golf team celebrates as they recently completed their fall play in October, finishing second overall.

The team's first tournament action placed them fourth on Saturday, September 4, at the Lynn Schweizer Invitational, hosted by Denison University. Winning the Columbus Cup on Sunday, September 26 at Northstar Golf Course, then placing first out of nine teams at the OAC Preview on October 2 and 3. On Sunday, October 17, they finished second overall at the Wittenberg Fall Classic, hosted by Springfield Golf Club.

Over the next few months, the team will be preparing for the spring portion of the season, where the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Championships and NCAA's will occur. According to seniors Vivian George and Lyndsay Blum, the team's chances look promising; they are on par for winning the OAC Championship.
