Otterbein's men's soccer team has won the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) tournament championship for the second consecutive season.
This time around, their win came in penalty kicks after neither the Cardinals nor the Polar Bears of Ohio Northern could score a goal in regular time.
They punched their ticket to the NCAA tournament after freshman Lincoln Wallace scored the final tally in the fifth round of penalty kicks. Otterbein avenged its regular season loss to Ohio Northern by beating the Polar Bears in the championship game.
Looking ahead to the NCAA tournament, the Cardinals find themselves with a road matchup set against the Hampden-Sydney College Tigers at Hellmuth-Gibson Field on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 3:30 p.m.
