This weekend in sports

The fall athletics season is just taking off, and all of your Cardinal athletes will be busy this weekend.

Volleyball
On Friday, the Cardinals will play Concordia (Minn.) at 3 p.m. and Wisconsin-Whitewater at 5 p.m. The Cardinals will play Elmhurst (Ill.) at 10 a.m. and Washington (St. Louis) at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Women’s Soccer
The Lady Cardinals will play Moravian at 3 p.m. On Sunday, the team will be away at Penn State Altoona to play at 3 p.m.

Men’s Soccer
The Cardinals are scheduled to play Shawnee State at 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Women’s Golf
The women’s golf team will spend their weekend competing at the Denison Invitational.

Men’s Golf
The men’s team will be at the Transylvania Fall Invitational this weekend.

Cross Country
Both teams will participate in the Waynesburg Invitational on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Football
While the varsity football team has a bye week, the junior varsity team will play at Wilmington at 2 p.m.

Tennis
The Cardinal tennis teams will play at Northwestern of Ohio on Sunday.
