T&C Media has won four awards from the Ohio News Media Association (ONMA) in their 2022 Ohio Collegiate Newspaper and Website Competition.
ONMA divides the competition, which is run annually, into two divisions: Division A and B. While Division A is for schools with over 10,000 students, Otterbein competes in Division B, which is for universities with an enrollment of under 10,000 students. Among the schools that T&C competes against are Xavier University, Capital University and Ohio Northern University.
Of the 10 awards presented, T&C was a finalist for four of them, with first-place finishes in “Best Website” and “Design.”
It takes a village to make the website, radio and magazine function and we could not be more proud of our winners. Specifically, we would like to congratulate the following people and works:
Katie Frame, Hannah Brown and Donovan Hunt for their second-place finish in “In-Depth Reporting” for their coverage of Otterbein’s program and faculty cuts.
Hannah Brown’s “The Wildcard Weekly Rewind,” which was awarded second-place for a multimedia package.
Julia Grimm, Marlie Griffith and Danielle DiMarzo for their first-place finish in the “Best Design” category for their work with the Tan and Cardinal Magazine.
T&C Media as a whole for a first-place finish in the "Best Website" category.
